Occasionally cloudy skies will persist across Saturday evening into early Sunday as unstable conditions linger across the island chain. In addition, a few isolated light to moderate showers are likely. The Atlantic high pressure sytem should regain dominance as Sunday progresses allowing for relatively fair conditions. On Tuesday occasionally cloudy skies could return.
Moderate/fresh(20-30km/h) easterly to east south easterly trades will cross the islands within the next 48 hours. A light wind regime(< 20km/h) is anticipated from Tuesday. Seas are slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking up to 1.0m on weatern coasts and near to 2.0m on eastern coasts. Swell heights could become generally slight(0.5-1.2)m in open water as wind speeds decrease late Tuesday. A plume of Saharan dust should begin to cross our islands on Monday.
