The low pressure area (cold-core) is drifting away from the island chain, with weak unstable conditions lingering across our islands. A few showers are likely across St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) overnight and during Sunday. Moisture levels increase across the Grenadines during Monday night and spread across SVG by early Tuesday, with unstable conditions and scattered showers.
Gentle-moderate (15 - 25km/h) north-easterlies across SVG, gust ~ 35km/h at times.
Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water, ranging 0.5 - 1.2m west of our islands and 1.2m - 1.5m east of our islands. Occasionally, long period waves and northerly swells could result in dangerous surf and rip currents...Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for breaking wave action and rip currents especially on northern and eastern coasts during Sunday.
