The Atlantic high pressure system is expected to dominate the weather pattern this weekend. Fair to occsasionally cloudy skies and a few intermittent light to moderate passing showers are likely. In addition, varying concentrations of Saharan dust haze are crossing the islands.

Moderate to fresh (25-35km/h) east south easterly trades will cross the islands within the next 24 hours. A slight decrease (~20-30km/h) is expected on Sunday with a shift in direction to east north easterly. Speeds should further deacrease (~15-25km/h) and become east south easterly on Monday. Seas should become slight to moderate in open water from Saturday with swells peaking up to 1.0 m on western coasts and ranging between 1.5m to 2.0m on eastern coasts.
