Saharan dust haze of varying intensities will continue to cross the islands within the next three days, significantly reducing visbility and air quatlity across our islands. Residents should be aware of reduced air quality. There is no indication of significant shower activity and warm conditions are expected to continue over the next few days as the Atlantic high pressure system continues to dominate the weather conditions.

Gentle to moderate (15-25km/h) easterly to east east south easterly trades are anticipated during this forecast period. Seas are slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.2m on the western coasts and ranging between 1.5m and 1.8m on the eastern coasts. In addition, Small craft operators should be aware for reduced visibility in dust haze.
