Surface analysis reveals the Atlantic ridge of high pressure dominates the weather pattern across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines while a weak trough is over the Northern Windwards. Tonight, mostly partly cloudy conditions are forecast with some early morning showers.
Some fair conditions are forecast by tomorrow afternoon.
On Wednesday, a band of moisture embedded in the easterly trades on the southern periphery of the Central Atlantic high pressure system, will move across the region. Therefore, occasional cloudiness with some showers is forecast for Wednesday with instability lingering into Thursday. However, mid level continues to be dry and stable air may limit any significant shower activity.
Breezy conditions are forecast for the next few days and seas are to remain slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking to 2.0m. As the high pressure system strengthens, deterioration on the eastern coast is anticipated around Wednesday with swells peaking to approximately 2.7m. A small craft warning may be in effect.
In addition, slight haze intrusion is forecast for tomorrow afternoon reducing visibility.
