Fair to partly cloudy skies with isolated showers are likely across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) today and tomorrow. By Friday, a tropical wave could approach the islands with a few showers. Trailing moisture and unstable conditions could support scattered light-moderate showers and thunderstorms across SVG during Friday night and Saturday…Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should exercise caution. Varying concentrations of Saharan dust create haziness across our area at times.

Light-moderate (5 - 20km/h) breeze gradually increase to fresh (~30km/h) across our islands by Friday night and directions vary between east north-east and south-east in some locations.

Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water, ranging 0.5m - 1.0m west of our islands and 1.0m - 2.0m east of our islands.

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services (SVGMET Services) is monitoring an area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms, likely to develop and approach the islands next Monday. Updates/advisories will be issued as necessary…Be Alert and Be Prepared!!
