Intermittent showers would interrupt sunny periods across SVG during Saturday afternoon and along Sunday. On Monday a tropical wave will draw nearer to the islands and instability ahead could trigger a few showers. This wave could bring additional showers and isolated thunderstorms across our islands by nightfall Tuesday. Saharan dust concentrations of varying intensities will remain noticeable  during the next few days reducing air quality and visibility. Be alert.

Moderate to fresh (20-35km/h) easterly to east north easterly trades are crossing our islands. A shift to east south easterly is expected from Sunday with a temporary decrease(15-25km/h) in speeds on Monday. Seas are moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.5m on the western coasts and peaking around 2.0m on the eastern coasts. Swell heights should fall on Monday. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and reduced visibility in dust haze.
