The Atlantic high pressure system will dominate the weather pattern across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines pumping fresh breeze across the islands with a few occasional brief showers over the next 48 hours.
In addition, there will be an increase in wind speed around Thursday night to approximately 45km/h. Late Friday night into Saturday, a weak trough is forecast to be in the vicinity and this will result in a decrease in wind speeds to approximately 20km/h with model analysis indicating a moderate (60 %) chance for some showers around Friday night into Saturday.
Slight sea conditions are forecast on the west coast tomorrow with swells peaking to 1.2m, but with the increase in the wind speed around Thursday night, generally, moderate to rough conditions will be experienced into Friday with swells peaking to 2.5m. Small craft operators and sea bathers should therefore exercise caution due to above normal sea swells.
Slight haze intrusion to continue into tonight but a reduction is anticipated over the next few days.
