A light wind regime will facilitate warm and humid conditions across our islands within the next 24 hours. This, accompanied by a south easterly wind flow can potentially trigger localized showers (across mid-afternoon with possible isolated thunderstorms). Fair to occasionally cloudy skies are anticipated on Friday as a weak shearline affects our islands across the afternoon. After a few early morning showers, Saturday should be sunny and warm.
Light and gentle (<20km/h) south easterly trades will cross the islands within the next 24hours. A slight increase (15-25km/h) is expected on Friday with a temporary shift in direction to the east north east. A further increase (15-30km/h) is expected on Saturday. Seas will be smooth to moderate in open water with swells ranging between 0.5m to 1.0m on the western coasts and near 1.5m on the eastern coasts. Slight Saharan dust haze concentrations may be noticeable on Saturday.
