Weather Discussion:
A tropical wave/disturbance with a low chance of cyclone formation has crossed over the islands and instability trailing the wave will continue to produce cloudy periods with showers and isolated thunderstorms. A gust nearing 30mph (50km/h) was recorded at the Argyle International airport. Seas are moderate to rough with swells peaking at 3.0m (10ft).
Instability will be maintained into tonight, with mostly cloudy conditions forecast for Tuesday. However, a reduction in showers will be noticeable. Model guidance is indicating a slight chance of few isolated thunder.
A gradual reduction in moisture and wind speed will continue on Wednesday and Thursday. Patches of cumulus clouds could bring isolated showers.
The winds are now nearing 40km/h, gradually decreasing from tonight, becoming 15km/h-30km/h. The seas will take a similar trend, gradually improving from Tuesday. There will be no significant haze intrusion up to Wednesday. Possibility of intrusion by the ending of the week.
