Weather Discussion:
Partly cloudy skies and brief light showers are forecast for the remainder of the day. Few occasional showers are forecast for Thursday as a tropical wave inches closer to the island chain.
By Friday, weather conditions should gradually become cloudy with scattered showers as the tropical wave affects the islands. There is a medium chance of isolated thunderstorms. Currently, fresh to strong breeze is associated with this wave. Instability could linger into early Saturday morning, becoming mostly fair.
Winds will blow mostly from the south at 9mph – 15mph (15km/h-30km/h), with higher gust near showers. Seas are forecast to be smooth to moderate in open waters with swells ranging between 0.5m-1.0m on the western coasts, and 1.0m-2.0m on the eastern coasts. There will be slight haze intrusion during this forecasted period.
