Light wind speeds are resulting in warm conitions across our islands and this could facilitate localised showers and the possibility of thunderstorms during mid afternoon today. Relatively fair conditions are anticipated for Thursday, whereas a passing shearline could trigger occasional moderate showers on Friday. A ridge pattern should rebuild as Satruday progresses.

Light and variable (<10 km/h) east south easterly to easterly wind speeds are crossing our islands, becoming gentle/moderate from Thursday. A tempoarty shift to east north easterly is forecast for Friday. Seas are slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking at 1.0m on the western coasts and around 1.5 m on the eastern coasts. No significant Saharan dust haze intrusion is expected during this forecast period.
