Instability from low level troughs embedded within the Atlantic high pressure system will continue to affect Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for the next 48hours.
A few showers are forecast for this afternoon while another trough approaches the region to affect by tonight.
Model guidance is indicating the presence of an upper level jet over the northern portion of the island chain, and also the arrival of a mid level trough from the North West by tomorrow morning. These mid to upper level features can enhance the aforementioned trough. The Leewards and Northern Windward Islands may experience showers and rain, with SVG being to the south of the activity. Nevertheless, some showers generated from the low level trough are forecast for Saint Vincent & the Grenadines tonight into tomorrow, with instability lingering into Wednesday. Another trough should be in the vicinity by Thursday, however by this time, the atmosphere will not be so favourable and a few scattered showers are likely.
East to East North- easterly winds averaging between 20km/h to 40km/h will continue, becoming mostly from the East South-East by tonight.
Slight to moderate sea conditions are forecast with swells peaking to 1.2m on the west coast and 2.0m on the east coast.
No significant haze intrusion within forecast period.
