A shearline is affecting the central Windward islands, resulting in cloudy skies, showers of varying intensities and thunderstorms across SVG. These conditions are likely to persist for the remainder of Tuesday with a reduction in visibility near showers. Residents and motorists should continue to exercise caution. A few occasional showers are likely on Wednesday as unstable conditions linger across the islands, whereas fair and warm conditions are forecast for the majority of Thursday and Friday with mid afternoon interruptions.

Light and gentle (15-20 km/h) east south easterly to south easterly trades are across our islands with gusts near showers. By Friday a slight increase in wind speed is expected. Seas should remain slight to moderate in open waters with swells between 0.5 to 1.0m on western coasts and ranging between 1.2m to 2.0m on eastern coasts. No significant Saharan dust haze intrusion is anticipated within this forecast period.
