The atmosphere is relatively moist, and this will generate occasional cloudy skies across our islands as Monday closes. Sunny and warm conditions are anticipated on Tuesday. By mid Wednesday, unstable conditions ahead of a tropical wave should begin to affect the islands. This feature should influence the weather pattern across SVG up to then end of this forecast period. Residents should remain alert.
Light and gentle (<20km/h) east south easterly trades are crossing the islands. A shift to east north easterly and a slight increase (15-25km/h) is anticipated from Tuesday. By Thursday, the wind direction should shift to east south easterly as the wave axis crosses the islands. Sea conditions are smooth to slight on eastern coasts ranging from 0.5m to 1.0m and slight to moderate on eastern coasts peaking near 1.5m. No significant Saharan dust haze concentrations are expected during this forecast period.
