A low level trough will be affecting Saint Vincent and the Grenadines tonight. Model guidance is not indicating any significant shower activity. However, with a moist mid to upper levels, enhancement can take place over night, and some showers are likely late tonight into tomorrow morning.
Some fair conditions may be experienced as the day progresses, before another trough is seen approaching the vicinity to affect the islands by late Wednesday into Thursday. Some scattered showers are therefore likely around this time period. Based on analysis, the highest chance (80%) for some showers will be around Friday into Saturday and this is due to the presence of a shearline that will dip southwards over the Southern Windward Islands.
East North-Easterly wind flow at 20km/- 30km/h tonight will become mostly from the East South-East by tomorrow and then generally from the East on Thursday and Friday. A brief increase to 40km/h is anticipated around Thursday night.
Slight to moderate sea conditions are forecast with swells peaking to 1.0m on the west coast and 2.0m on the east coast. Generally moderate conditions are forecast by Friday on both the west and east coast.
