Weather Discussion:
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely across St. Vincent and the Grenadines(SVG) tonight…Residents and motorists in areas prone to flash-flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should exercise caution. Weak unstable conditions could linger across our islands over the next few days, as trough systems cross the islands. Varying concentrations of Saharan dust could create slight-haze across our area at times.
Gentle-moderate (15 - 25km/h) breeze across our islands could vary between north-east and east south-east in some locations, temporarily reducing to calm with no cooling-effect during Wednesday…Be Alert!
Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water, with swells ranging 0.5m - 1.0m west of our islands and up to 1.8m east of our islands.
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services will continue to monitor developments across the Caribbean Sea and Tropical Atlantic Ocean, issuing updates/advisories as necessary.
