Over the next 24hours, a weak low level shearline will influence the weather pattern across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Late tonight into Monday, cloudy conditions with some showers are likely; and as the Central Atlantic High pressure system continues to build north of the island chain, breezy conditions will persist.

A trough system is forecast to be in the vicinity around Tuesday.  Moisture will increase at mid levels and model guidance is indicating showers, approximately 2 inches of rainfall by Tuesday night, with instability lingering into Wednesday.

Generally easterly trades 20km/h – 40km/h is forecast across the islands, with a brief decrease possible around Wednesday. In addition, moderate sea conditions will further deteriorate by tomorrow on both the west and east coast with swells peaking to 1.5m on the west coast and 2.5m on the east. An advisory will therefore be kept.

There will be fluctuation in the intensity of the Saharan dust intrusion over the next few days.
