Cloudy conditions with some showers will continue into tonight as a low level shearline continues to influence the weather pattern across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and as the Central Atlantic High pressure system remains anchored to the north of the island chain, breezy conditions will also persist.
A few scattered showers are also anticipated for tomorrow; and by evening a trough system is forecast to be in the vicinity and this will influence the weather pattern up to Thursday. Moisture will increase briefly at mid levels around Wednesday night and model guidance is indicating most of the shower activity (~ 1 ½ inch) around this time period.
Generally easterly trades 20km/h – 40km/h is forecast across the islands, with a brief decrease possible around Wednesday, with winds veering to East South- East.
Slight sea conditions are forecast on the west coast from Wednesday with swells peaking to 1.2m. However, moderate conditions with swells peaking to 2.5m may linger on the east coast and an advisory may therefore still be kept.
There will be fluctuation in the intensity of the Saharan dust intrusion over the next few days.
