Weather Outlook - 27th August 2026(12noon)
A few showers are likely across SVG during this (Thursday) afternoon. The chance increases on Friday as a tropical wave is expected to affect the islands.
On Saturday, warm conditions are forecast with afternoon localized showers as recently formed “Tropical Storm Dolly” is expected to pass well north of our islands. Trailing instability behind this feature could allow for showers and thunderstorms along Sunday.
Moderate to fresh (~20-30 km/h) east south easterly trades are crossing our islands, shifting to east north easterly on occasions during this forecast period. Seas are slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.8 m on western coasts and near 2.0 m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells during the next 3 days. Slight Saharan dust haze concentrations are anticipated late Friday into Saturday.
