Extended Forecast
Weather Outlook - 30th March 2026 (12 Noon)
A weak ridge pattern is dominant across our islands allowing for relatively fair conditions. Meanwhile the presence of an upper level jet continues to provide occasional support for scattered moderate showers across our area.
Fair conditions could be interrupted by episodes of light to moderate showers along Tuesday and Wednesday. No significant Saharan dust haze intrusion is anticipated during this forecast period.
Gentle to moderate (~10-25 km/h) north easterly trades are crossing our islands. A shift to east north easterly is expected from Wednesday. Seas are slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking near 1.0m on western coasts and near 1.5m on eastern coasts. Marine users are advised to exercise caution for long period swells from Tuesday causing dangerous rip currents and breaking wave action near the shoreline. Sea conditions could improve along Thursday.
