Advisories
Weather Outlook - 17th July 2026(12noon)
The Atlantic High Pressure System is the dominant feature, pushing moderate-fresh (25 - 35km/h) north-easterly trades across the islands, with a possible surge (~ 40km/h) during Friday (to)night. A few showers are likely across St. Vincent
and the Grenadines (SVG) over the weekend. Patches of Saharan dust could occasionally create slight/moderate-haze, reducing visibility and air quality across our area…Take the necessary precautions.
Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water, with swells ranging 1.0m(3ft) to 1.5m (5ft) west of our islands and 1.8m (6ft) to 2.5m (8ft) east of our islands…Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for rising (above normal) swells and gusty winds especially during Friday (to)night and Saturday morning.
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services will continue to monitor developments in the Tropical Atlantic Ocean and issue updates/advisories as necessary.
