A ridge pattern is dominant across the islands allowing for relatively fair and breezy weather conditions for the remainder of Wednesday.

On Friday, a weak trough could trigger a few early morning showers, before some sunny periods as the day progresses. Warm conditions are likely on Saturday and Sunday with possible afternoon showers. Meanwhile, slight Saharan dust haze concentrations may be noticeable across our islands as the weekend approaches.

Moderate to fresh (~20-35 km/h) easterly trades are crossing our islands, but should decrease (~25 km/h) along Friday. Winds could further decrease in speeds on Saturday, leading to warm conditions. Seas are currently slight to moderate in open water. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. Seas should improve from Friday and swell heights should range between 0.5 m and 1.0 m on western coasts and peak to 1.5 m on eastern coasts for the remainder of this forecast period.
