An area of Low Pressure in the Northern Atlantic Ocean is propagating long period waves. These long period waves are propagating towards the island chain and could break with life-threatening surf and rip currents along the shores of St. Vincent and the Grenadines starting Monday morning and continue during this week…Small-craft operators should secure vessels and sea-bathers are advised to stay out of the water.
Conditions could be more adverse at times of high-tide:
Monday - 2:22 am & 1:12 pm
Tuesday - 3:00 am & 1:52 pm
Wednesday - 3:36 am & 2:35pm
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services (SVG MET Services) will continue to monitor the Tropical Atlantic Ocean and issue updates/advisories as necessary.
