Outlook
Weather Outlook - 27th March 2026(12 Noon)
The Atlantic high pressure system is the dominant feature across our islands. However, weak pulses along its southwestern periphery will allow for occasional cloudy skies and sporadic showers.
In addition, an upper level jet will provide occasional support for scattered moderate showers within the next few days. No significant Saharan dust haze intrusion is anticipated during this forecast period.
Moderate to fresh (~20-30 km/h) east south easterly to east north easterly trades will cross our islands on Friday afternoon. A shift to east south easterly is expected on Saturday. East north easterly trades will return from Sunday with a reduction (~10-20 km/h) in speeds. Seas are moderate in open waters with swells peaking near 1.5m on western coasts and near 1.8m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. Swell heights should fall along Friday night bringing improved sea conditions across the weekend.
