Outlook
Weather Outlook - 4th July 2026 (12 Noon)
Saharan dust haze concentrations are currently crossing our islands, significantly reducing visibility air quality. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions.
A few passing showers are likely as approaching shallow pockets of moisture cross our area on Sunday. In addition, a tropical wave should begin to affect SVG as Monday progresses with Lingering instability expected to trigger additional showers on Tuesday. Residents and motorists should remain alert.
Moderate to fresh (~20-35 km/h) easterly to east north easterly trades are crossing the islands. A temporary shift to east south easterly is expected on Monday and Tuesday during the afternoon period. Consequently, seas are moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.5 m on western coasts and near 2.0 m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds.
