Weather Outlook - 26th April 2026 (12 Noon)
As moisture continues to cross our island chain, occasional cloudy skies and intermittent isolated showers can be expected.
A gradual drying out is expected by midweek as fair conditions are anticipated.
Gentle to fresh (~15 to 30km/h) east south-easterly trades will cross our islands within this forecast period, shifting to easterly on occasions. Seas are slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking to 1.0 m on western coasts and ranging between 1.5m to 1.8m on eastern coasts. Marine users should exercise caution for dangerous rip currents and breaking wave action near the shoreline during Sunday night and along Monday due to the presence of long period northerly swells. In addition, slight Saharan dust haze concentrations may be currently noticeable but should decrease within the upcoming days allowing for an improvement to visibility across our islands.
