The Atlantic high pressure system is dominant allowing for relatively fair conditions across our islands under breezy conditions. A weak trough could generate some cloudy skies along Monday. Showers associated with this feature could spread into early Tuesday. In addition, Saharan dust haze concentrations of varying intensities will continue to cross our islands, reducing air quality and visibility. Thick concentrations may be across our area by Tuesday. Residents should remain alert.

Moderate to fresh (~20-35 km/h) easterly to east north easterly trades are crossing our islands. A shift to east south easterly expected Monday and early Tuesday. Seas are moderate in open waters with swells peaking to 1.8m on western coasts and near 2.5m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds.
