The Atlantic High Pressure (Bermuda High) remains dominant across the region, but a couple weak troughs/pulses on the southern edge of the High, could increase chances for few scattered showers on Friday and Saturday. Another shearline/trough expected late Saturday into Sunday within the lower levels, could spike instability across our area with moisture/showers converging
across St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).
Fresh north-easterly trades (30 - 40km/h) should back to north north-easterly tonight. Temporarily, slight speed reduction (20 - 35km/h) and veering may be noticeable Friday afternoon behind the weaker trough, to increase again by nightfall. Again, slight speed reduction and directional veer to east south-easterly is expected by Sunday afternoon.
Slight to moderate seas peaking near 1.8m on west coasts and near 2.5m on east coasts are expected overnight; with northerly swells possible across SVG during Friday.… Mariners-small craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise extreme caution for above normal northerly swells...Swells should be originating from the east by Saturday while gradually decreasing to 1.0 – 2.0m late Sunday.
Fairly good visibility is expected, with occasional slight hazy conditions reducing visibility across our horizon.
