Weather Outlook 19th February 2019 (12 pm)

The Atlantic High Pressure System is the dominate feature across our islands. Patches of low level clouds moving along an easterly wind flow will continue to produce occasionally cloudy skies and isolated showers.

By Thursday, an approaching weak shearline is expected to move over the southern part of the region. As a result, occasional scattered showers can be expected across our islands.

East north-easterly to Easterly winds ranging between 20 to 45 km/h (12 to 28 mph) are expected during the next 72 hours.

Moderate sea swells are forecast with swells peaking near 2.5 meters (8.0 feet). Small-craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution.

No Saharan dust haze is expected during this forecast period.
