Weather Outlook 29th August 2019 (noon)

Mostly fair conditions with a few periods of cloudiness are forecast for this afternoon as the Atlantic high pressure dominates across the island chain. In addition, there is a chance (60%) for some localized showers.

A tropical wave moves closer to the islands, and instability should be generated as early as tonight. This area of instability is broad and while a few scattered showers are forecast for tonight into early Friday morning, models are depicting an increase in shower activity on Saturday.

Generally easterly winds at approximately 10km/h to 25km/h should persist throughout this forecast period and sea conditions are forecast  to remain slight (1m- 1.2m ) in open waters for the remainder of the forecast period.

There is no significant haze intrusion throughout this forecast period.
