Weather Outlook 21st October 2019 (6pm)

Although a gradual improvement is forecast for the mainland as the night progress, lingering moisture will result in some scattered showers. The southward drift of the shearline will result in continued unstable conditions across the Grenadines.

Tomorrow, some fair conditions are likely in the morning. However, an increase in cloud cover with showers and a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms is possible by nightfall into Wednesday morning due to a trough.

After which, a tropical wave weakens as it approaches the islands and model guidance indicates a few scattered showers around Thursday morning.

East north-east to east (ENE-E) winds at 10km/h to 20km/h is expected tonight. An easterly wind flow at 10km/h to 25km/h is anticipated from tomorrow and Wednesday, becoming east north east (ENE) from Wednesday night ahead of the weak tropical wave.  Sea conditions will be slight in open water (0.5m- 1.2m) throughout this forecast period. There will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
