Weather Outlook 4th November 2019 (noon)

Unstable conditions will result in occasional cloudiness with a few showers during the next 24hrs. Hazy and breezy conditions will also be experienced.

After which, a tropical wave will begin to affect the islands. Showers and a high chance (70%) of thunderstorm activity are forecast Tuesday night into Wednesday. In addition, gusty winds are likely near showers. An improvement is likely as Wednesday night progress into Thursday, before unstable conditions move across the islands.

Generally, fresh easterly wind flow at 20km/h to 40km/h will be experienced, becoming east north-east to east (ENE-E) from Wednesday morning towards forecast end. Moderate sea conditions remains on the east coast with swells peaking at 2.5m in open water. Further deterioration is anticipated on the east coast as the week progress with swells peaking at 3.0m (rough). Haze intrusion is forecast to fluctuate within this forecast period, reducing visibility on occasions.
