Weather Outlook 18th December 2019 (6 pm)

The Atlantic High Pressure System is dominant and a thin hazy film lingers across our islands. Patches of cloud within the wind-flow are expected to bring some showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight into Thursday morning. Late Thursday into Friday, some showers are likely with a trough across our islands and possibly lingering into Saturday.

Fresh to occasionally strong (35 – 50 km/h) east north-easterly trades across our islands should gradually decrease, to fresh (30 – 40 km/h) breeze and turn easterly during Thursday.

Moderate to rough (2.0 – 3.0 m) sea conditions continue across our islands,

with east north-easterly swells, thus the High Surf Advisory and Small-craft Warning remain in effect until Thursday when moderate (1.5 - 2.5m) conditions are expected towards evening.
