Weather Outlook 22nd January 2020 (6pm)

A suppressive upper level environment and dry mid level continue to linger in our area. Nevertheless, instability associated with an existing shearline would continue to generate some showers across the islands. An increase in cloudiness and shower activity can be expected over the next 12 to 24hours before a ridge builds around Friday, resulting in fair conditions.

East southeasterly moderate breeze (20-25kph) would gradually turn easterly over the next day then gradually become gentle (15-20kph) by late Friday. Seas would maintain slight to moderate conditions (1.5m to 2.5m) until they reduce gradually to around slight (up to 1.8m) on Friday.

No significant dust haze is forecasted for the period.
