Weather Outlook 27th January 2020 (12 noon)

The atmosphere will remain relatively dry, with model guidance indicating only a few brief isolated showers possible across the mainland during the next 72 hours. Wednesday into Thursday, unstable conditions are likely to result in a few scattered showers mostly over the extreme southern portion of the island chain.

A gentle to moderate (10km/h – 25km/h) easterly wind flow will prevail during the next 24 hours, with possible increase in speed to about 30km/h from Tuesday night into Thursday. In addition, slight to moderate (1.0m-1.5m) sea conditions will continue during the next 72 hours.

Haze intrusion to the east of the island chain around Wednesday night is likely to limit visibility by Thursday.
