Weather Outlook - 4th August, 2020 (12 noon)

Unstable conditions may trigger some occasional showers by nightfall and into the early hours of Wednesday. A tropical wave should begin to interact with the island chain by Wednesday evening with light to moderate showers quite likely heading into Thursday. There is also a slight chance for isolated thunderstorms by mid-afternoon Thursday as this feature affects the islands. Instability trailing the wave would allow for similar conditions on Friday.

Gentle to moderate(15 -25km/h) east(E) to east north easterly(ENE) trades will move across the islands up to early Friday morning. An east south easterly(ESE) flow will begin from Friday afternoon. Prior to this, occasionally breezy(~35km/h) conditions may be noticeable at times on Thursday.

Sea conditions will continue to be slight to moderate (1.0m-1.5m) during the next three days.

In addition, slight haze intrusion is possible from Tuesday into Wednesday.
