Weather Outlook- 5th February 2021 (noon)

Moderate to fresh (25km/h-40km/h) east north easterly to easterly trade winds will continue to move across the island chain over the weekend into the new week. Low level clouds drifting along these trades are likely to result in a few occasional showers. In addition, unstable conditions around Saturday night into Sunday increase the chance of shower activity.

Generally, seas will be moderate in open waters, with swells peaking at 1.5m on the western coasts, and 2.5m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution during this time.  A deterioration on the eastern coasts on Saturday is anticipated with a possible peak of 3.0m in open waters. A marine warning is likely at this time.

In addition, there will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
