Weather Outlook 5th March 2021 (6 pm)

A weakened Atlantic High Pressure System is across our islands and moderate to occasionally fresh (20  35 km/h) east north-easterly trades can be expected across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), with isolated showers tonight. Wind direction could vary between east south-east and east north-east during Saturday, with low-level clouds increasing during the afternoon and triggering a few showers into the night. A film of haze may be noticeable across our area on Sunday before unstable conditions move across SVG, with mid-upper levels supporting a few more showers during the night and lingering on Monday.

Slight to moderate sea-conditions, with easterly swells are

across our islands; ranging 1.2  1.5 m on western coasts and near 1.8 m on eastern coasts. Swell heights could start rising again by Sunday afternoon, ranging 1.5 to 2.5 m...Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea-swells...A fall in swell heights can be expected late Monday.
