Weather Outlook 8th March 2021 (6 pm)

On the southern edge of the Atlantic High Pressure System; weak pulses in the wind-flow could bring a few cloud patches, triggering isolated showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Mid-upper level features could support occasional cloudy skies and increase the chance for a few showers across SVG, by late Wednesday into Thursday.

Moderate to fresh (20  35 km/h) north-easterly trades with occasional gust near 45 km/h can be expected during night-time, over the next few days.

Moderate sea-conditions, with easterly swells are across our islands; ranging 1.5  1.8 m on western coasts and up to 2.5 m on eastern coasts. During Tuesday, swell-heights

could temporarily fall to range 1.2 m to 1.5 m on western coasts and near 2.0 m on eastern coasts with east north-easterly swells. Increased wind-speeds during Tuesday night could result in swell-heights rising again... Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should continue to exercise caution for above normal sea-swells and occasional gusty winds...
