Weather Outlook 26th March 2021 (6 pm)

Weak unstable conditions linger across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG); with occasional cloudy skies and a few scattered showers. As a lower-level trough approaches, cloudy skies and shower activity could increase across SVG Saturday night and continue during Sunday. A film of haze may be noticeable Sunday night and slightly hazy conditions are expected Monday, but mid-upper level features could maintain unstable conditions with cloudy skies and scattered showers across our islands.

Over the next few days, moderate to fresh (25 – 35 km/h) north-easterly trades could increase near 40 km/h during night-time and early morning. Wind-directions could turn east south-easterly during

Monday afternoon and fresh to strong (30 – 45 km/h) trades could return Monday night.

Sea-conditions are slight to moderate with north-easterly swells ranging 1.2 m to 1.8 m on western coasts and near 2.0 m on eastern coasts of SVG. On eastern coasts of SVG, swell heights could start rising (near 2.5 m) Sunday night. East north-easterly swells are expected across SVG by Monday afternoon.
