Weather Outlook 12 noon 1st January 2018

Weak instability would continue to linger across the islands and a few showers are likely this afternoon. Instability would continue into tonight as a weak trough system begins to affect the islands. However, moisture at mid levels is forecast to decrease as time progress, therefore showers would not be intense as to the showers experienced over the weekend.

By Wednesday, the Atlantic ridge of high pressure would establish itself across the islands before another trough arrives in the vicinity on Thursday resulting in some showers. A slight improvement in sea conditions is forecast from tomorrow and haze intrusion to decrease by tonight.
