Weather Outlook 25th September 2021 (6 pm)

Weak unstable conditions continue to trigger a few showers with isolated thunderstorm activity across St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). By Monday, mostly sunny skies are expected and day-time heating could support cloud build-ups with localized showers and thunderstorms.

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Service continues to monitor Hurricane Sam; now a small Category-4 Hurricane near 13.3°N 48.5°W at 5 pm today…view projected path below.

Over the next few days, wind-flow from the south-east could range 5 to 20 km/h, often decreasing to calm and resulting in uncomfortable heat conditions…Be aware.

Slight sea-conditions in open water are near 0.5 m on the west of SVG and up to 1.2 m on the east of SVG with northerly swells. North-easterly swells are expected by Sunday afternoon and gradual rise in heights could start Monday, nearing 1.0 m on the west and 1.8 m on the east of SVG by Tuesday.
