Weather Outlook 6pm January 11th 2018

Some scattered showers are likely tonight as low level clouds move across the island chain. A ridge of high pressure will continue to pump fresh to strong breeze( 20km/h- 45km/h) and an advisory on the seas will therefore remain in effect.

Some showers are still likely tomorrow night, as previously forecast, but based on analysis, the greater instability is on Sunday as a trough presently located to the north in the Central Atlantic inches closer to the island chain. This low level instability could be enhanced by a mid level low and a jet stream that are forecast to also be in the vicinity over the Weekend. Model guidance is indicating showers approaching from the north. Further monitoring will be done.
