Weather Outlook- 10th February 2022 (noon)

Mostly fair conditions are forecast for this afternoon, becoming increasingly cloudy tonight as a shearline moves across the islands generating a few brief showers. Fair conditions will return as Friday progresses and occasional cloudy skies with a few scattered showers are forecast for Saturday.

Winds are forecast to blow generally from the east north east (ENE) at approximately 20km/h-40km/h, resulting in breezy conditions, particularly over the weekend.

Sea conditions will range between 1.0m – 1.5m on the western coasts and 2.2m - 2.5m on the eastern coasts, with slight deterioration expected from Friday on the eastern coast ~3.0m. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution. In addition, there will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
