Weather Outlook - 12th March, 2026 (12 Noon)
Weak unstable conditions are across our islands and a favourable upper level environment is in place and supporting occasional moderate showers along Thursday.
As the weekend progresses, fair conditions could be interrupted by abrupt shower activity. In addition, slight Saharan dust haze concentrations should be noticeable across our islands this weekend.
Moderate to fresh (~20-30 km/h) north easterly to east north easterly trades are crossing our islands with a slight increase (~35 km/h) expected on Sunday. Seas are moderate in open waters with swells ranging between 1.5m on western coasts and near 2.0 on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. Swell heights can drop by Friday evening but as wind speeds increase around Sunday, seas conditions could deteriorate.
