On the southwestern edge of the Atlantic High Pressure System, brisk winds continue to push clouds with showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Cloudiness and shower activity could increase across SVG by early Wednesday. Meanwhile, Saharan dust concentrations create a film/slight-haze across our area at times.
Moderate-fresh (25 - 35km/h) cool northeasterly trades are occasionally strong (~40km/h) across our islands. A gradual reduction in wind speeds can be expected by Thursday.
Sea conditions are moderate to rough in open water, with swells nearing 1.8m (6ft) west of our islands and 3.0m(10ft) east of our islands with gusty/strong winds…The Small-craft & High-Surf Advisory remains in effect for St. Vincent and the Grenadines and its coastal waters until 12noon Wednesday. Swell heights are expected to gradually fall, with slight-moderate {1.0m (3ft) - 2.0m(6.5ft)} sea conditions across SVG by Thursday.
