Weather Outlook - 14th April 2026 (12 Noon)

Cloudy skies are likely to persist this (Tuesday) afternoon as weak unstable conditions affect our islands.

In addition, showers are forecast for Wednesday as instability crosses the islands while a similar pattern is expected on Thursday. Meanwhile, varying concentrations of Saharan dust haze will continue to cross our islands reducing visibility and air quality.

Moderate to fresh (~20-30 km/h) east south easterly trades are crossing our islands increasing (~35 km/h) by Wednesday. By Friday, winds should shift to east north easterly. Seas are slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking near 1.2m on western coasts and near 2.0m. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds.
