Latest Forecast
Weather Outlook - 19th June 2026(12 Noon)
A tropical wave is approaching the Eastern Caribbean and should begin to affect our islands late Friday into Saturday. Models suggests that a favourable upper level environment is expected to be in place during its passage.
Instability trailing the wave could trigger light to heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms during Sunday. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should exercise caution. In addition, Saharan dust concentrations should thin out across Saturday but a moderate to thick plume should return on Sunday, reducing visibility and air quality. Residents should take the necessary precautions.
East northeasterly to easterly trades ranging from 25 to 45 km/h (19 to 28 mph) are expected during the forecast period. As a result, modertate sea conditions are forecast, with swell heights near 1.5m (5ft) west of our islands and ranging from 2.0m (7ft) to 2.4m (8ft) east of our islands. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds.
