Weather Outlook - 1st July 2026 (12 Noon)

Relatively fair, hazy and breezy conditions can be expected across our islands for the remainder of Wednesday with similar conditions likely for most of Thursday.

Slight Saharan dust haze concentrations are currently crossing our islands with a decrease expected on Friday before returning on Saturday. Meanwhile, a tropical wave should affect SVG on Friday. Lingering instability could allow for a few showers along Saturday.

Moderate to fresh (~20-35 km/h) easterly to east south easterly trades are crossing the islands. A shift to east north easterly is expected on Friday with an increase (~40km/h) on Saturday. Consequently, seas should remain moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.5 m on western coasts and near 2.0 m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds.
